COR Construction was contracted to rebuild the internal structural frame of this property. The pre-existing condition of house was beyond repair. Half of the roof, second and first floor collapsed into the basement. The property had been vacant for over 12 years.
Our team went with a structural renovation plan. Stage 1 - remove all pre-existing interior building materials including joists, sheathing, walls, flooring, fixtures, etc. Stage 2 – Rebuild each of the floor systems including the joists and sheathing. Stage 3 – Rebuild the roof joists and sheathing.
Tarantino Engineering Consultants contributed to the design of the framing system for the floors and roof.
